Internationalization

At present,ZJSU has more than 1000 international students from over 100 countries and regions around the world, and has signed inter-school cooperation agreements with more than 200 universities and research institutions in more than 50 countries such as the UK, the United States, Germany, France, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and South Korea.

INTRODUCTIION OF HANGZHOU

Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang Province and the center of politics, economy, culture, science and education in Zhejiang Province. Hangzhou has a superior geographical location, located in the northern southeast coast of China, adjacent to Shanghai. As one of the seven ancient capitals of China,Hangzhou is one of the first batch of national historical and cultural cities, with representative ones including West Lake Culture, Liangzhu Culture, Sik Culture, and Tea Culture.

In the 13th century, Italian traveler Marco Polo praised Hangzhou as the "most bcautiful and luxurious city in the world". The most famous scenery in Hangzhou is the beauty of West Lake, as people saying "there is paradise in the heaven, and Suzhou and Hangzhou on the carth", which is a beautiful praise for Hangzhou. In 2011, the West Lake Cultural Landscape of Hangzhou was succesfully included in the World Cultural  Heritage Lists. The 11th G20 Summit in 2016, the World Short Pool Swimming Chamapionship in 2018, and the 19th Asian Games were held in Hangzhou.

Hangzhou is the birthplace of China’s e-commerce, and the headquarter of Alibaba Group, the world's largest e-commerce enterprise is also located in Hangzhou. Therefore, it is known as the "City of E-commerce".

    Zhejiang Gongshang University has a complete range of disciplines, covering 10 categories interdisciplinary subjects. Possess the right to confer doctoral degrees, master's degrees, and bachelor's degrees, as well as the right to confer master's professional degrees, and the right to recruit foreign students and students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. In the fourth round of national discipline evaluation results released by the Degree and Graduate Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education, ZJSU's statistics entered Class A disciplines, while six disciplines, including business administration, applied economics, foreign language and literature, food science and engineering, law, and computer science and technology, entered Class B. The evaluation results ranked among the top key construction universities in Zhejiang Province.
